Log line

This is a screenplay about a family tragedy that brings four estrange sisters home after five years; they are not who they appear to be, secrets will be revealed and lives will be changed forever.

Synposis:

This is about four sisters, Karen who is the oldest, Kendra who has a feisty attitude, Janey who is the easy going one of the bunch and Tracy the “Rebel” of the four. They live four different lives who at one time were very close with each other, but after their parents died in a horrible car accident some years back; they never really recovered nor kept in touch with each other until the one thing that brought them back to see one another after all those years is the death of their mother’s sister Aunt Merle. Aunt Vi, who is the matriarch of the family will be able to read through a lot of what is going on with each of them. The more they try to hide their issues, the more will be reveal. Secrets will unfold and issues will be brought to the table, but at the end of it all they will understand the true meaning of family.

Hello Everyone!!

My name is Ychlindria and I have been in and out of the business for over 10 years, why you may ask, because I really needed didn’t know if this was a path I was suppose to take. Since discovering this talent of writing I have written 1 Screenplay and now working on another. I am working on a book as well and a Podcast. So needless to say I think I have found my way and will continue on this path.

What I hope to get out of this class is to develop a solid process in rewriting/editing not only the screenplay I have finished but others to come.

Something that is unique about me is that I like structure, I am a go getter, I. push others to their full potential and excellent management skills.

I look forward to learning alot from this class and really developing strong skill sets.

Hello Christina

Thanks so much for agreeing to partner up with me. I am in Texas so we will have to get our timing together where we can have a conversation over the phone.

So I have been writing for over 10 plus years, not full time but in between going to school and collecting 3 degrees. I have written a screenplay call “Sistahs”l which is what I am working on in this class. Within the last 10 years I have been really trying to see if this was a true calling to go full time or was this a pass time hobby. So the end result was that this is not a pass time hobby, I know this is where I want to be and I have left my corporate career to pursue this further. I am currently working on a soft launch for my Podcast the second half of the year, I am in the middle of writing a book and this screenplay that I want get finished with before the end of the first half of the year. I am solo on all of this so I have to really keep a tight schedule to stay on track. I look. forward to working/learning from you in these next few weeks.
