Hello, My name is Jeremy Kirk
I have written 25 scripts and 1 TV show. What i really hope to get out of this class are more tools for my tool box. There are things I am good at and other things I would like to get better at. I’ve always had a knack for writing and a particular voice in doing so. I work with a small writer’s group here in Arizona who know my writing pretty well, so I hope to gain some new tricks that will help me wow them at the table reads.
I once worked with Brian Pulido creator of Lady Death (Comic) in writing a script Killer Gnome. I also, early on, worked with Entity Eye and it’s creators in short films. We took 3rd place in the Phoenix Film Festival and myself have placed 2nd on FilmQuest for Best Un-produced Screenplay.

Hi! My name is Xochi (Pronounced So-Chi). I have been working on sets since 1987. Presently I work as a 1st AD but am working on improving my writing. I did take a screenwriting U class many years ago and came out of it with my first script that I’m was pleasantly surprised I had a real feature script upon completing the class.
My hope is that as Hal said in the first class last night is to keep improving. I have had trouble figuring out how to improve scenes that I know need it but I haven’t been able to accomplish myself. Now I hope to do just that!
Something unique about myself. My Name came from a time that my dad and another man walked from Los Angeles to Mexico City before I was born. It was 1958. I’ve been working on completing a documentary about their journey.

Hi! I am Mary Albanese. I have written lots of features, some tv episodes, and have produced a few shorts (www.MaryAlbanese.com) and some books. My goal is to double the quality of my writing so I can get some features produced. I particularly love film because of the way it blends the written word with the visual arts.
Sometimes I work with a well-known British medium documenting her work. Some of those experiences have been pretty spooky so my stories can veer into creepy territory. But not all, as I also like to write romance and adventure stories.

I have not written a script, but have spent the last what seems 14 months taking these classes to obtain the basic skills necessary to have a competitive advantage among others and to continue learning the tradecraft of a screen writer. I have a lot of global life experience and graduated from the ‘School of Hard Knocks!’

Hi, I’m Claudia Wolfkind.
I’ve written numerous screenplays and have been optioned twice. I launched The Outdoor Channel in the 90s and was head of programming and development for a few years, producing numerous programs and series while there as well as producing a show for another cable network.
What do I hope to get out of this class? To find myself again… the writer I used to be and become even better. Almost 2 1/2 years ago I was attacked at work (someone stealing a room-sized rug) and when I stopped her, she hit me in the head with it. Since then I have had two surgeries, replacing discs in my neck and dealing with post-concussion syndrome (massive daily headaches, neck pain) as well nerve pain down my neck into my arms.
I have not written a single CREATIVE word since that time… and I’m praying this course brings me back from the brink. I’m no longer able to work outside the home, a curse and maybe a blessing, and I’m determined to write again and sell my projects.

Hi everyone,
I have 4 feature scripts which I began marketing a week ago with Hal. So far, 4 different requests from 4 producers.I am beginning a rewrite of a script in preproduction so I’m taking this class to assist in that process.
An astrologer friend says that I have strong traits for editing in my chart but I’m also a walking contradiction so we’ll see which qualities win out.
